Physical theatre demonstrates that you don't have to use words are not the only way to express ideas, beliefs and culture. we use techniques such as movement, mime, gesture and dance and can be used to explore complex social and cultural issues.
DV8 are probably the most well known physical theatre practitioners and the most respected. They focus on looking at the dramatic potential that can be unlocked from movement. Their work is often described as existing at a crossroads where dance, sound and drama meet. DV8 are well known for using Physical theatre to explore complex aspects of human relationships and social or cultural issues.
